Death at Hide Tide by Hannah Dennison is the first book in her Islands Sisters series. I thoroughly enjoyed the book from the beginning to the end. I read it in one sitting on a rainy day, which, I believe is the perfect weather for a cozy mystery. It's the story of Evie Mead, whose husband, Robert, suddenly dies of a hear attack. She believes she's broke but does not realize that she has inherited a hotel on one of the Isles of Scilly. Her and her sister, Margot, travel to Tregarrick Rock where the hotel is located and soon finds themselves thrust into a murder mystery.
I really loved this book. It is full of danger and romance and though I have never heard of this author before I can not wait o read more by her. If you like cozy mysteries, you will lover this one! I loved the setting and the relationship the sisters have.It is truly a good book.
I would like to thank NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this title in exchange for my honest review.
